In December 2018, Charles F. Edgar, Jr. permanently retired from our business and sold his stock to the corporation, now solely owned by Nancy Bence Noblitt, his partner for over 35 years. From 1984 until 1990, the business was primarily an investigative service for local attorney’s and businesses in the Huntsville area. In 1990, the business expanded to Property Title Examination and Registered Agent Services.

By the early 2000’s our business primarily covered North Alabama and Southern Tennessee. By 2005 we developed a great relationship with over 150 clients across the US and a few overseas. Each year thereafter we averaged 5000 searches. Although the Real Estate downturn affected our business, we maintained a relationship with several large Title companies and in 2016 we expanded our coverage to every county in the great State of Alabama. We believe our team of abstractors is the best Alabama has to offer and our Quality Control Department minimizes incomplete searches and errors in our reporting. We carry $1,000,000 E&O Insurance and never had a claim. We are members of several Title related organizations and when you contact us, we respond to every question or concern with charming southern professionalism.

We act as a third-party in Alabama, where the business entity is established with the Alabama Secretary of State Corporate Division. We are designated to receive service of process notices, correspondence from the Secretary of State, and other official government notifications. We offer this service through URS or HUBCO.
